Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TagSentry (“Service”), operated by TagSentry (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TagSentry is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that performs automated browser-based monitoring of marketing tags and analytics implementations on websites you own or are authorized to monitor. The Service uses headless browsers to visit specified URLs, execute page interactions, and capture evidence including screenshots, console logs, network requests, and dataLayer snapshots.

3. Automated Browsing Disclosure

By using the Service you acknowledge and agree that:

• The Service uses automated browsers (Playwright/Chromium) to visit URLs you provide.
• You are solely responsible for ensuring you have authorization to monitor any URL you add to your account.
• You must not use the Service to monitor websites you do not own or do not have explicit permission to test.
• Automated visits may appear in the target website’s analytics and server logs.

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Monitor websites you do not own or have authorization to test.
• Attempt to overload, disrupt, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Resell or redistribute the Service without prior written consent.

6. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Payments are processed through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are provided at our discretion.

7. Data & Evidence Storage

Run evidence (screenshots, logs, network captures) is stored for the duration of your subscription. Upon account deletion, evidence data is permanently removed within 30 days.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including data loss or missed alerts.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the company is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
