TagSentry (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Information We Collect

Account Data

When you create an account we collect your email address and any name you provide. Authentication is handled via Supabase Auth.

Monitor Configuration Data

URLs, assertion rules, scheduling preferences, and alert configurations you set up in the Service.

Run Evidence Data

When the Service runs a monitor it captures screenshots, browser console logs, network request logs, and dataLayer snapshots from the target URL. This data is stored securely and associated with your account.

Usage & Analytics Data

We collect anonymous usage data (page views, feature usage) to improve the Service. This data is not linked to your identity.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and operate the monitoring Service.
  • To send alerts and notifications you have configured.
  • To process billing through our payment provider (Stripe).
  • To improve the Service based on aggregate usage patterns.
  • To communicate important changes to the Service or these terms.

4. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third parties as necessary:

  • Supabase — Database hosting, authentication, and file storage.
  • Stripe — Payment processing. Stripe receives your email and payment details. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
  • Resend — Transactional email delivery (alerts and notifications).

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

5. Data Collected During Automated Browsing

The Service visits URLs you configure using automated browsers. During these visits we capture technical data from the target page (network requests, console output, screenshots). This data may incidentally contain information from the target website. We store this data solely to provide the monitoring Service to you and do not use it for any other purpose.

6. Data Retention

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. Run evidence is retained for the duration of your subscription. Upon account deletion, all personal data and evidence is permanently removed within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access and export your data.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Withdraw consent for non-essential data processing.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, and role-based access controls. All infrastructure is hosted on reputable cloud providers with SOC 2 compliance.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We may use analytics cookies to understand usage patterns. You can control cookie preferences in your browser settings.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days before they take effect.
